Friday

1500 - 1800

Registration Evening

Informal gathering at HQ with JUG if you wish so to do, catering can be arranged if suitable notice given. A bottle shop is over the road for those wishing to partake of a drink or two.

Dormitories will be ready for those booked in, dont forget to bring sheets, (Sleeping bag) pillow case and towel. Pillows and blankets will be supplied. (and the bed)

Bring your Club Flags and banners to dress up the Show and Shine on Sunday

Important Note:-

As this function is meant to uphold all the Values held dear to all Ulyssians, (Damn thats hard to spell) its imperative that ones dress and bearing be suitable for the occasion.

To that end, the attire for the night is not A Bag of Fruit n Designer Gowns, it shall be neat n tidy  casual ( In other words, not the torn oily draggins. They must be cleanish..... Please)

Saturday

0700 - 0900  Breakfast

0900 - 1800  Registration

For those so inclined, The footy will displayed on the big screen.

Free tea n coffee will be available at no charge, a bottle shop is available over the road for those who wish for some thing of a different taste. BBQs are available for use if you wish to indulge in a sausage sizzle.

1000ish - 2 Rides, returning around mid afternoon, allowing for a Nanna (Poppa) nap to prepare for the evening activities

Ride 1 - A long one to Kalbari (and return)

Ride 2 - Shorter ride to Chapman Valley n back

1930 - Official opening of the Odyssey 2008, Dinner Dinner and live Music at Odyssey HQ.

Catering for the Night is by the Camp School (Quality reported as excellent). Music is by a local band Moresby Rangers(2000-2400). Dancing by the Odyssey troupers.

There will be a Lucky Door Prize or three, and various raffles During the night.

Drinks for Sale at great prices. There will be Light n mid strength Beer, Red n White wines (Bottled), and a selection of premixed drinks as well.

Sunday

0700 - 0900  Breakfast

0900  Presidents meeting

1000-  Meet up at Odyssey HQ, for a Parade ride through Geraldton to the Show and Shine in Town. Wear your Club Shirts, and display your Banners, and Let Geraldton know who is in town. Lets show those four wheeled show ponies how its dunn. Prizes will be awarded at the Evening entertainment.

1200 Free time to prowl the town, rest and prepare for the all important evening festivities.

1300 A Sunday Arvo ride will be departing from the Show n Shine.

1730    Local Band Shivoo will provide the entertainment (Until the real stuff) from 1900 -2300ish. The Odyssey Dancers will be back again (hopefully)

A Sumptious BBQ will be prepared by the Camp School staff, and drinks will be available again (if you can face it) organised and staffed by the Geraldton/Greenough Rotary Club.

The Highlight will be the Ever Popular Skit Show, (Try to beat Joondalup this year, it cant be that hard) with The draw of the Major raffle, A Scooter to the Value of over $2000 (every one needs one of these these days) A WAECO Cooler and more.

We will be hearing from our  Chosen charity The Holland St School who will be letting all know of their work. Hopefully we will be in a position to reveal the amount of the donation raised for them.

All profits from the Odyssey will be going to this Wonderful school, to provide the latest in computerised WhiteBoards to aid in the kids interactivity. 

 

The Tickets are only $2.00 each, (sorry no discounting allowed) so buy a heap of them. Worry about how to get that Scooter home later
